"Green" smoothies

A delicious and healthy breakfast! Well... At least healthier than waffles or french toast which sounded delicious on this cold morning! So this is a healthy "green" smoothie... by the way does it qualify as green as long as it has some sort of green? Anyways I always put a cup of some form of milk either lactose free or almond, two handfuls of greens (do you know that you can freeze this stuff and throw it in any meal? Thank you Ashlee from themomentswestand for that awesome tip!) a handful of almonds (just because I have them on hand) and I have a ton of frozen bananas so I always put one of those in. If you like your smoothie a little sweeter make sure to wait til your bananas are ripe, almost brown. And then here are some combos that are muy delicioso!

For a rich and creamy smoothie: A spoonful of peanut butter, half a cup of oatmeal and a half scoop of either chocolate or vanilla protein powder.

A more fruity tuity approach: An apple (without the core) and a spoonful of orange juice concentrate.

Berry-licious: Two handfuls of any berries with a spoonful of orange juice concentrate.

Add any extra veggies to these and you got yourself a healthy breakfast! I am slowly starting to add more veggies... I am just not used to smoothies tasting like a v8 tomato drink yet :) but seriously though... These will rock your buds! Any combos you guys use? I would love to hear your ideas!!
